Qualification / Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration from a reputable institution.
- Familiarity with the Aerospace sector is advantageous.
- Understanding of SOX compliance and control processes.
- At least seven years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting
- Expertise in standard costing, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with foundational knowledge of Oracle systems.
- Exceptional organizational skills coupled with effective time management and project planning capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on developing actionable solutions.
The Group Controller is responsible for managing the financial operations of specific business units, safeguarding assets, and ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory accounting standards. This role plays a pivotal part in enhancing financial returns and supporting revenue and EBIT growth objectives through accurate financial reporting, variance analysis, and insightful strategies. Additionally, the position ensures precision in transactions, oversees the accounting and reporting processes to meet deadlines, and spearheads critical projects aligned with the company’s growth and expansion goals.
Key Duties:
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to define targets for sales, profitability, efficiency, inventory, variable costs, delivery, working capital, and quality.
- Compile and analyze daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including consolidated financials, flash reports, KPIs, and working capital analysis, among others, to support informed decision-making.
- Offer strategic financial guidance and analytical support to internal stakeholders.
- Assist in forecasting and bridging financial gaps with business unit leaders.
- Contribute to the formulation of the annual business plan and monitor progress against goals.
- Provide advice on the financial impact of decisions and suggest strategies for improved outcomes.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of business unit dynamics and recommend performance enhancements.
- Review and evaluate forecasts and business plans, identifying and addressing variances.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to achieve optimal performance.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, Local, and internal company policies and regulations.
- Establish and enhance daily performance management systems.
- Lead, coach, and mentor team members to foster a collaborative, motivated, and engaged work environment.
- Promote financial awareness within finance and operations teams, encouraging the use of financial tools to drive profitability.
Salary : $180,000 - $200,000
