We are looking for a detail-oriented finance professional to manage project-based financial processes, including budgeting, reporting, and revenue recognition. You will collaborate with management to provide financial guidance, optimize metrics, and support cost-saving initiatives. The role also involves assisting with proposals, purchase orders, and RFQs, while providing regular updates to the Controller. Ideal candidates will have a background in finance or accounting, strong Excel skills, and experience in manufacturing companies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage financial measurement processes for projects.
- Offer financial guidance to management and program teams.
- Collaborate with managers to establish program budgets and timelines.
- Assist with work plan reconciliation and reporting.
- Provide regular weekly and monthly financial updates to the Controller.
- Evaluate and optimize existing financial metrics.
- Research and implement strategies to reduce costs.
- Support the Controller and Contracts Manager in preparing proposals, purchase orders, and RFQs.
- Handle various ad-hoc tasks, such as revenue forecasting, market analysis, budgeting, and revenue recognition.
- Oversee all financial aspects related to program management, including revenue recognition processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field such as Finance, Accounting, or Operations Management.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Effective communication skills for both internal teams and external clients/suppliers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- 4 years of experience.
- Experience in working within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Experience with revenue recognition standards and processes.
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
