Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesDevelop models of equipment and structure to produce 3D plant designsGenerate orthographic and isometrics drawings MTOs arrangement details and location plansSupport engineers on projects for operating facilities and develop layouts and drawings for equipment including plan sections and elevationsSupport proposal work by developing conceptual plant layouts and generating orthographic viewsCheck vendor drawings. Make necessary corrections and coordinate submittals as instructedFollow established CAD standards and guidelines for the industrial gases industryReports to Design Department ManagerWork with other departments and work groups as neededParticipate in departmental training programs / seminars and online trainingan ONSITE positionQualificationsTwoyear degree in engineering / drafting technology from a recognized technical institute requiredMechanical or electrical engineering degree or relevant coarse work a plus.Proficiency in CADWORKS 3D and AutoCAD or BricsCAD design software is requiredExperience with cryogenic piping and working in the Industrial Gases Industry is a plusUnderstanding of pipe stress and pipe supportsBasic computer literacy
