Job Overview
The Plastic Injection Molding Process Technician plays a vital role in driving process improvements and ensuring the quality of molded products. This position involves collaborating with engineering teams to develop new processes and optimize existing ones.
Responsibilities:
- Foster a culture of safety and adhere to Division safety rules.
- Conduct safety audits and participate in new mold inspection and setup.
- Troubleshoot tooling, process, and machine issues or implement new processes.
- Collaborate with Engineering on new process development and plant productivity initiatives.
- Enhance the efficiency of current processes with Shift Process Technicians.
- Document and communicate data and processes accurately.
- Overtime may be required as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- At least five years of hands-on experience in plastic injection molding.
- A minimum of a two-year technical degree is preferred.
- Ability to pass Work Keys Mathematics and Technical Aptitude testing.
- Working knowledge of the IQMS system and basic PC literacy.
