Responsibilities :
The Respiratory Therapist assesses patients condition and evaluates all data to determine the appropriateness of the prescribed respiratory care.
He or she participates in the development and delivery of the respiratory care plan in accordance with department policies and procedures. Patient populations will be in NICU Peds MICU SICU and ED.
Various shifts available : Nights (12hour shifts) and Evenings (8hour shifts) Fulltime and Parttime. We also have a position that rotates days and evenings once a week one week day shift the next week evening shift. And we also offer a 7on / 7off work schedule. Each position requires work every other or every third weekend; as well as a few holidays per year.
Pay will vary : If the candidate is a CRT and not RRT the pay range is lower would likely be set between 2731 / hour depending on years of experience etc. The midpoint of the pay range for an RRT is 36 / hour but every candidates pay is set individually based on years of experience.
Qualifications :
Post High School Diploma Program
Relevant Experience
Certification and Licensure :
CPR Certification
PA Respiratory Therapist License
NBRC Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT)
Will consider CRTs
BLS ACLS & PALS (within 612 months of hire or transfer)
