Role: AWS Architect / Cloud Solution Engineer (Remote)
Location: Remote (Occasional travel to Durham, NC for client meetings - expenses paid)
Duration: Full-Time Position
About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced AWS Architect / Cloud Solution Engineer to design and implement cloud solutions on AWS. This remote role involves building secure and scalable infrastructure, with occasional travel to our client in Durham, NC for meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement secure, scalable AWS cloud solutions.
- Set up and manage AWS Landing Zones and Control Tower.
- Implement and enforce AWS Organizations and Service Control Policies (SCPs).
- Manage core AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Experience with Migration from on-prem to AWS
- Utilize observability tools for monitoring and alerting.
- Collaborate with teams and participate in client meetings in Durham, NC (as needed).
- AWS Experience 8 years mandatory
Required Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
- Proven experience with AWS Landing Zones and Control Tower.
- Strong understanding of AWS Organizations and SCPs.
- 10 years hands-on experience with foundational AWS services (AWS EC2, S3, CloudWatch, VPC, RDS)
- Experience with AWS ECS/EKS
- Experience with observability tools.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and remote work skills.
- Willingness to travel to Durham, NC for occasional client meetings (expenses paid).
Preferred:
- Familiarity with medical terminology (DICOM, PACS, HL7).
- Experience with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
