Job Description

Staff Management Group is seeking a Packing Mechanic Technician for our client in Somerset, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule :

1st shift : 6 : 30AM - 3PM
Plus Overtime
30 / hour

Job Summary :

The Packaging Mechanic Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing high-speedequipment while maximizing production requirements that meet and exceedspecifications.

Job Responsibilities :

Perform set-up, troubleshoot, changeover, repair, and maintain Shrink WrapTunnels, Label Aire, and Conveyors in a timely, safe and efficient manner to ensureequipment readiness and to achieve top production volume at 100% quality andproductivity rate

Repair and maintain packaging equipment and all necessary conveyorsincluding preventive maintenance.

Maintain all safety standards.

Enforce lock out tag out procedures.

Work with a team to assemble custom machinery.

Properly set up, change over, and maintain all aspects of packagingequipment to facilitate the successful execution of the productionschedule and minimize equipment and production downtime.

Job Requirements :

Must be bilingual, English AND Spanish

Must have a background in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or foodindustry

Must have Mechanical Skills, Manufacturing Skills, and Good Communication

Must have high volume filling skills

Must have Bartelt Tech skills

Must have experience with CNC machinery
