Staff Management Group is seeking a Quality Control Checker for our client in Mount Olive, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday
- One Saturday per Month is required: 6AM - 2PM
- 1st Shift: 6AM - 2:30PM or...
- 2nd Shift: 2:30PM - 11PM (Must train on the 1st Shift for two weeks before transitioning)
- Plus Overtime
Pay Rate
- $16.50 - $17 / hour
Job Summary
The Quality Control Checker is responsible for inspecting products to ensure they meet established quality standards before shipment. This role involves carefully reviewing products for defects, completing necessary documentation, and maintaining accuracy in order processing.
Job Responsibilities
- Inspect products to ensure they meet company quality standards before packaging and shipping.
- Complete and review required paperwork for accuracy and compliance with quality control guidelines.
- Report any defects, inconsistencies, or non-conforming products to supervisors or quality assurance teams.
- Follow company procedures and industry regulations related to food or pharmaceutical safety, if applicable.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Ensure all shipments are accurately labeled and properly prepared for transportation.
- Assist with inventory tracking and documentation as needed.
Job Requirements
- MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish
- Previous experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
