Staff Management Group is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for our client in Fairless Hills, PA. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

- 1st shift: 8AM - 4:30PM
- Plus Overtime
Pay Rate:
- $16 - $17 / hour
Job Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for examining products, materials, and processes during manufacturing to ensure they meet established quality standards by performing inspections, tests, and measurements, identifying defects, and reporting any issues to maintain high product quality and compliance with company and industry regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Measurement and visual inspection of materials (receiving inspection, in process inspection, final inspection, cosmetic inspection, first article measurements.)
- Collaborate with production department to make sure the quality standards are clearly understood by all production engineers and technicians. Regularly report product quality information and feedback to management team and production team for company quality improvement.
- Be involved in the application of both the visual appearance and overall performance of our panelized systems.
- Communication being key in reviewing errors, finding solutions, and maintaining our dedication to quality.
- Maintain quality records and report accurate and complete information in reports daily.
- Be able to calibrate simple measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers) following written procedures.
- Complete all documentation completely making sure to sign and date. Keep required production reports and other assigned documentation and inspection tasks current.
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of basic math and computer skills are important because measuring, calibrating, and calculating specifications are major part of quality control testing
- Test experience, data collection and analysis in a technical manufacturing environment preferred.
- QC decision making based on data collection and analysis. Basic computer skills will be helpful.
- Strong communication skills. Being able to speak and understand English will be helpful.
- Solid background in inspection and QC process.
- QA/QC Training preferred.
