In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance of the cemetery, mausoleum, and funeral home grounds. Pay: $15-$19 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift, 8 AM - 5 PM
Overtime may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform grounds maintenance using various mechanized equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Assist with interments and entombments, including excavating graves and assisting with the placement of caskets.
- Accurately identify and mark interment/entombment spaces using cemetery maps.
- Ensure the grounds remain well-kept and presentable at all times.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of grounds maintenance experience.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
- Familiarity with groundskeeping equipment and general maintenance tasks.
- Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills.
