This position will be part of a creative services in-house team and will help to execute and design a variety of instore signage assets. The Graphic Designer must thrive in a professional, fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects within a corporate setting. Please note, this is not a high-level, graphic designer need.Responsibilities : Design / Executes creative and graphic concepts in collaboration with the assigned teamProduces technically correct, print-ready mechanicals for releaseFollows projects throughout all stages of print production and / or online deploymentInteracts regularly with designers and other team members as needed for the completion of assigned projectsSolves business challenges through smart productionTakes ownership, leads initiatives, and successfully executes through all stages of production development on target, on time, and on budgetMaintains and enhances the client's identity by working within the corporate BrandManages the execution of the work, ensuring that creative projects are completed, meeting budget and schedule targetsUnderstands the client's design needs and methodologyCommunicates effectively with peers, senior management, and clients across all topics from business to creativeOther duties as assignedQualifications : Associates or Bachelor's degree in graphic design or marketing or equivalent of2 years of experience working in a Graphic DesignerRetail, agency, or in-house corporate design experience preferredMust be highly proficient in industry-standard design software (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark, and MS Office) and other applicable programs on the Macintosh platform.The ability to prepare projects for print is essentialAbility to build strong, technically tight, problem-free mechanicalsAbility to set up and organize clean template files that can be adapted to many uses and streamline the production processProficient knowledge of prepress and printing standardsAbility to produce independently in a team environmentStrong attention to detail and willingness to learn existing and new workflowsOrganizational skills, adaptability, and composure under fire are equally importantExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to listen for understanding to execute the work according to the customer's needsStrong project-management skills, organizational skills, and time-management skills#LI-SS2After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
