Shift Options:
- 1st Shift | Monday - Thursday | 5 AM - 3 PM | $20.50 - $25/hr DOE
- 2nd Shift | Monday - Thursday | 3 PM - 1 AM | $23.58 - $28.75/hr
The Machinist will operate various machine tools, including mills, drill presses, and lathes, under direct supervision to assist with production operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and machine drawings.
- Set up, operate, and program various machine tools.
- Perform secondary operations, including part stamping and deburring.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area (5S standards).
- Inspect parts for proper size and tolerance.
- Perform routine machine maintenance.
- Continuously expand skills through training and cross-training.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Technical degree in Machine Tool Technology (or related field) and relevant work experience, such as an internship, or 2 years of machining experience.
- Ability and desire to grow, take on new challenges and seize opportunities.
- Capable of setting up basic tooling, writing, and executing basic programs.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and using precision measuring tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy.
