What are the responsibilities and job description for the Non- CDL Yard Jockey position at Staffmark Group?
Work for the Premier Driver Staffing Company! We are now hiring for a fulltime Yard Jockey.
Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday work week.
9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Will move empty trailers between warehouses and must be able to operate tractor and trailer combination and a mule tractor.
- Open and close trailer doors during moves.
- Update movement logs using company software.
- Collaborate with other drivers to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct daily inspections to ensure truck safety.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
- Ability to delegate effectively.
- Handle pressure, respect others, and follow through on commitments.
- Adhere to safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
- Follow instructions, complete tasks on time, and work extra hours when necessary.

Requirements :
1 year of verifiable experience within the past 3 years
Clean MVR preferred
At least 22 years of age, or older
Valid License and medical card
No DUI / reckless driving in past 5 years
