Pay : $22-$27 / hr (Depending on experience.)
Schedule : Monday-Friday
As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable processes and payroll systems, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant regulations. You will support both accounting and payroll functions to maintain smooth financial operations within the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, ensuring accuracy before posting.
- Route non-inventory invoices for approval and post accordingly.
- Post invoices to correct GL expense and prepaid accounts.
- Monitor unvouchered payables and received but not invoiced receipts.
- Process timely vendor payments via check or EFT.
- Review vendor statements for accuracy.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly.
- Assist with month-end close and inventory monitoring.
- Resolve invoice issues with receiving and purchasing departments.
- Upload hours from ERP system to ADP for bi-weekly payroll processing.
- Verify meal penalties, missed punches, and approve timecards and time-off requests.
- Collaborate with HR for accurate employee data and payroll records.
- Send temp timecards to staffing agencies and communicate with corporate payroll.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee data.
