Staffmark has partnered with a leader in steel fabrication and industrial solutions to find an experienced Pipe Fitter to join their growing team! This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to apply their skills in a dynamic and collaborative work environment. In this role, you will follow safety and quality procedures, interpret drawings for pipe fabrication, measure and cut pipes, perform MIG and flux core tack welding, and work with a team to complete projects efficiently while maintaining a clean workspace.
Schedule : 1st Shift, 6 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM
Pay Rate : $21 / hr.
Responsibilities :
- Adhere to all shop safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the sequence for spool fabrication.
- Measure, mark, cut, and prepare pipes using saws, torches, and benders.
- Utilize MIG and flux core welding to tack carbon steel components.
- Fit and assemble ANSI flanges, elbows, reducers, and various pipe fittings.
- Safely operate cranes, rigging devices, and grinding tools for preparation and fabrication.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and properly dispose of waste.
- Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure jobs are completed on time and to standard.
