Pipe Welder job details include :
Schedule : 6am - 2pm
Pay rate : $19 - $20 / hr.
Responsibilities :
This role requires following shop safety and quality procedures while performing various welding techniques, including SMAW, GMAW / MIG, and FCAW. Responsibilities include setting up components, welding metal parts according to engineering drawings, and identifying and reporting defective equipment. Candidates must be able to manipulate heat, adjust tolerance gaps, and pass performance tests for certification. Safe operation of overhead cranes and rigging devices is a plus, along with maintaining a clean work environment. Additional duties may be assigned by the Foreman as needed.
