What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Operator position at Staffmark Group?

Pay: $18 per hour
1st Shift Hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM
Lifting Requirements: Up to 80 pounds unassisted
Essential Functions:
- Safely operate various types of equipment (straightening and cutting machinery, grinding equipment, mechanical presses, final cut machines, and bending fixtures).
- Analyze job routers/travelers and instructions to complete production tasks.
- Use material handling equipment such as hand trucks and media trucks to move products within the facility.
- Perform preventive maintenance for manufacturing equipment and facilities-related equipment.
- Perform visual inspections of equipment before and during operation to prevent machinery failures.
- Utilize measurement equipment such as a micrometer or caliper.
