What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at Staffmark Group?
A well-established company is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to help ensure that parts meet customer specifications and support the Quality Manager with day-to-day operations. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with a starting pay of $20 - $21/hr. and working hours from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hardness and other tests, recording results accurately
- Complete conformance reports and assist with shop audits
- Report any irregularities to supervisors or management
- Maintain clean, safe work practices and promote strong housekeeping standards
- Handle customer inventory responsibly to prevent loss or damage
- Support other quality-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Manufacturing background
- 1 year of related work experience
- 0-2 years of experience in the heat-treating industry or a related field
- Familiarity with testing equipment and inspection terminology
- Basic understanding of commercial/aerospace materials and heat treating is a plus
