A premier commercial construction company in Lafayette, LA, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant for a direct hire opportunity. This role requires expertise in tax, payroll, and benefits audits, general ledger accounting, cost accounting, and treasury/bank deposits. Salary: $65,000-$85,000 per year
1st Shift Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday
We are seeking a degreed accountant with progressive experience in US GAAP accounting who can seamlessly transition across various accounting functions. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with executive leadership, reporting directly to the Corporate Controller and Company President/Owner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles
- Ability to manage multiple accounting areas with accuracy and efficiency
- Commercial construction experience is a plus
