Salary : $60,000 - $68,000
Shift : Day shift hours (schedule will vary)
As a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, you'll oversee the daily operations of a designated area in the warehouse, including managing staff, inventory, materials, equipment, and fulfillment, all while prioritizing customer service.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in hiring, training, developing, evaluating, and supervising warehouse staff
- Implement and enforce safety, security, and sanitation programs
- Enforce corporate policies, procedures, and programs
- Plan and schedule distribution services, including receiving, storing, shipping, and handling returns or damaged products
- Ensure the warehouse layout meets efficiency and production standards
- Review, evaluate, and recommend improvements to operational procedures
- Supervise the performance of warehouse associates
- Monitor transportation companies for pick-up times and driver service
- Open or close the facility as needed
