Truss Designer

• Design and draft roof and floor trusses for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings using advanced design software
• Collaborate with sales teams and customers to gather project specifications and deliver precise truss designs
• Review architectural plans to ensure truss designs comply with building codes and structural requirements
• Generate detailed truss drawings, material lists, and design calculations
• Work with production teams to ensure designs can be efficiently and accurately built
• Resolve design issues or challenges during production or construction
• Stay updated on the latest truss design technology, industry trends, and local building codes
• Ensure timely completion of designs and effectively communicate project timelines
• Provide technical support and assistance to customers as needed

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in structural design, engineering, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• 5 years of experience in truss design or a similar field is highly desirable
