Salary : $75,000 - $125,000 / yr.
Schedule : Monday - Friday, flex between 7am - 5pm
Responsibilities :
- Design and engineer water, wastewater, civil, and other assigned projects, including drafting construction plans using AutoCAD software.
- Coordinate technical work for design, permitting, and contractor selection, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and codes.
- Perform studies, engineering investigations, and cost estimates, and certify designs with a professional seal.
- Manage projects assigned to external engineering consultants and provide technical assistance to engineers, surveyors, and developers.
- Interact with regulatory agencies such as EPA, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and state health and environmental departments during project design and permitting.
- Ensure familiarity with and adherence to CWS Environmental Management System policies and procedures.
- Availability to work during emergencies and maintain regular attendance in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications : Engineering degree and at least four years of experience in civil design. Degree with preference for design of water and wastewater infrastructure; registration as a PE in the state of South Carolina.
