Staffmark is hiring a Credit Specialist in Santa Fe Springs, CA, for an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company. If you're ready to take the next step in your accounting career, this is the perfect position for you!
Pay : $25-29 per hour
Shift : 1st shift, Monday through Friday
Responsibilities :
- Monitor large corporate accounts by creating weekly statements to keep customers informed of open invoices
- Collaborate with EDI processors to ensure all invoices are delivered and remain open on our end
- Reconcile discrepancies and resolve issues with customer accounts
- Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone
- Update customer account records in the system and ensure tax rates are correctly applied
- Work with Customer Service and Warehouses to address and resolve customer complaints
- Send monthly statements to all customers
- Provide backup support for Accounts Receivable, including cash application and daily invoicing
- Assist with preparing checks received for cash application
- Set up new customers with management approval
Experience : Accounts Receivable, Credit, and Collections experience required
