Staffmark is hiring a Public Works Laborer in Troy, OH, to help maintain the city's streets and public spaces. If you're dependable, hardworking, and enjoy working outdoors, this is a great opportunity for you!
Pay : $20.00 / hr
Shift : Monday - Saturday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM
Job Responsibilities :
- Collect trash and yard waste from daily routes
- Assist in maintaining city streets and right-of-ways
- Pick up trash from the truck and ensure streets are clean and prepared for public use
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat and cold)
- Be prepared to work with trash, including handling odors
- Lift up to 50 lbs individually and up to 100 lbs with a team
- Occasionally work independently to gather yard waste
Experience Needed : Must have experience working outdoors and performing physical labor
