What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician position at Staffmark?

Staffmark is hiring an experienced Quality Control Technician for our client in East Granby, CT. This position is responsible for performing a variety of quality and technical-related tasks including test, inspection, analysis of test / inspection data, training, and record keeping. Pay : $20-$23 per hour (Based on experience)
1st Shift Hours : 7 AM - 3 : 30 PM or 8 AM - 4 : 30 PM, Monday-Friday
Essential Functions :
- Qualification testing of incoming materials, as well as wire and cable, in accordance with industry / internal procedures.
- Set up test procedures and perform a wide variety of quality control inspections / tests involving specialized knowledge of test equipment and of effects of process variables on the product, particularly in terms of usage of materials.
- Assist in analyzing customer complaints and returns and development of their satisfactory resolution.
- Record and maintain accurate data of all testing performance following documented procedures.
- Collaborate with all levels of management, including factory supervisors, machine operators, development engineers, process engineers, and technicians.
