Pay : $20 / hr
Shift : 2nd shift, 6 : 00 PM - 5 : 30 AM
As a Structural Fitter, you'll play a key role in assembling structural frameworks using advanced welding techniques and high-quality materials such as angle iron, I-beams, and steel plates, following precise blueprints and specifications.
Responsibilities :
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Fit structural frameworks according to layouts, drawings, or work orders.
- Read and interpret blueprints to identify material sizes and measurements.
- Position, align, and secure parts before assembly.
- Cut, bevel, and contour metal plates with precision.
- Use tools such as calipers to measure and ensure accuracy.
- Perform tacking, burning, and welding operations.
- Safely operate overhead cranes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with other duties as required.
