Reach Truck & Order Picker Forklift Operator Job Description
A Reach Truck & Order Picker Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating reach trucks and order picker forklifts to move, retrieve, and organize inventory in a warehouse or distribution center. This role involves handling materials, fulfilling orders, and ensuring efficient storage and transportation of goods while following safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate both reach trucks and order picker forklifts to transport and retrieve products.
- Load, unload, and stack materials efficiently within warehouse racking systems.
- Pick and prepare customer orders accurately using an order picker forklift.
- Perform inventory checks and cycle counting as needed.
- Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of forklifts to ensure proper functioning.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Experience operating both reach trucks and order picker forklifts.
- Valid forklift certification (preferred but not required).
- Ability to work at heights and handle heavy loads.
- Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Salary : $19 - $21
