The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) is communication focused role that delivers information across the hospital and to clients. While in the hospital, the PCC :
Provides concierge level care and communication to clients whose pets require extended care and / or multi-departmental collaborationDelivers timely financial updates to clientsCreates, reviews, and maintain treatment plans and estimatesTracks, monitors, and updates charges as neededPerforms involved patient discharges in person or over Zoom to ensure clients are set up for a successful recoveryDisplays comfort and flexibility in communication styles when discussing prognoses, procedures, and treatmentsOur team member benefits and perks :

2 years in specialty medicine preferredPrevious experience as a veterinary assistant or RVTComfort in verbal and written communicationCompassion and empathy for clients and their petsAble to work four 10-hour swing shiftsPhysical Requirements :
Ability to quickly process, analyze, and react to unplanned and emergent medical situations without delay, so as to ensure the safety of team members and patientsAbility to stand for up to 12 hours with limited breaksAbout us :
