**Position Overview:**

We’re seeking a motivated and reliable **Café Aid (Bar Back)** to join our team. This part-time role is designed to support our baristas and café staff by ensuring smooth operations and delivering excellent service. As a Café Aid, you'll assist with stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the team behind the counter. You will also be expected to be familiar with the full menu, including both food and drinks, and assist customers by taking orders at the register and handling cash. The ideal candidate will be a team player who can multitask effectively and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Stocking & Organizing:** Ensure the café is fully stocked with necessary supplies such as coffee beans, syrups, cups, and other essentials.

- **Bar Support:** Replenish ingredients, clean tools, and manage inventory behind the bar to assist baristas.

- **Cleanliness:** Maintain a clean and organized workspace by washing dishes, wiping surfaces, and keeping the café tidy at all times.

- **Menu Knowledge:** Be familiar with the full menu, including both food and drinks, to answer customer questions and make recommendations.

- **Order Taking & Cash Handling:** Take customer orders at the register, handle cash transactions accurately, and ensure a smooth checkout process.

- **Customer Service:** Provide excellent customer service by assisting with order inquiries, ensuring customers feel welcomed, and maintaining a positive atmosphere.

- **Team Support:** Work closely with baristas and kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations, especially during busy periods.

- **Time Management:** Manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing responsibilities.

**Requirements:**

- Previous environment is a plus, but not required.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.

- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Familiarity with cash handling and basic register operations.

- Flexible availability, including mornings, weekends, and occasional evenings.
