Job Description
Performs responsible paraprofessional work opening, closing and monitoring facility operations and generally works in the Stafford County Government Center; does related work as required. Duties are performed under regular supervision.
The hiring range for this position is from $15.13/hour to $20.81/hour based on experience.
The full salary range for this position is from $15.13/hour to $26.48/hour to provide opportunity for growth and development.
Examples of Duties
- Prepares facilities for use; monitoring facility operations and activities;
- Opens, closes and monitors facilities during evening and weekend meetings;
- Sort and deliver mail to departments;
- Pick up mail at the post office;
- Sets up facilities, providing supplies and equipment;
- Provides information to the public regarding center activities;
- Performs related tasks as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to instruct common activities;
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with other workers, program participants and the general public;
- Ability to enforce rules and regulations and maintain discipline.
Education and Experience
Graduation from high school or equivalent experience.
