What are the responsibilities and job description for the Embedded Die Repair - Full-Time - Third Shift - Health Benefits, Dental, PTO, 401K position at Stafford Cutting Dies, Inc.?
Third Shift Hours: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
Objective: To ensure press ready tooling is delivered to press side maximizing customer workflow in the most efficient way, always watching and listening for new techniques or concepts and relaying those ideas to the Stafford management team.
Abilities Needed:
- Ability to multi-task well
- Ability to work with minimal to no supervision
- Ability to work under pressure in a high stress environment
- Very detail oriented
- Ability to work standing on feet for entire shift, minimum of 8 hours a day
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must have working knowledge of all processes, procedures, and materials
Experience Required:
- 1 year technical experience
Job Responsibilities
Management of tooling
- Responsible for maintaining tooling to press ready performance
- Responsible for notifying supervisor if tooling cannot be repaired to press ready condition
- Responsible for placing tooling back in racking systems after repairs
- Responsible for clocking in and out of jobs and updating information in DPS system
Management of Repairs/Changes at Press Side
- Responsible for performing immediate repairs/changes on press when required
Management of Inventory
- Responsible for maintaining acceptable levels of inventory
- Responsible for organized storage of inventory
Management of Facility and Equipment
- Responsible for housekeeping of assigned work area
- Responsible for maintaining diemaking equipment to OEM standards
Salary : $18 - $21
