GIS Systems Architect

As the GIS Systems Architect at Stafford Gray, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing geospatial systems and infrastructure that meet the organization's strategic objectives. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, develop architecture blueprints, and ensure the interoperability of GIS technologies. Requirements

Experience Required:

• At least 5-7 years of experience in GIS system architecture, design, and implementation
• Comprehensive knowledge of geospatial data management and GIS software solutions
  
  
  

Skillsets Required:

• Expertise in data modeling, database design, and spatial data infrastructures
• Proficient in various programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, Java) and GIS tools and platforms (e.g., ESRI ArcGIS)
• Strong experience with cloud-based GIS solutions and enterprise architecture
• Familiarity with GIS web services, RESTful APIs, and geospatial analytics
• Ability to analyze complex requirements and develop scalable, robust, and efficient GIS systems
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders and team members effectively
