We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual in a Software Engineer III role. The successful candidate will support and upgrade legacy ERP platforms to Oracle Fusion. We are seeking well-qualified candidates with experience supporting Oracle Fusion platforms with a full suite of capabilities including SCM, HCM, and ERP modules. The successful candidate will be capable of developing, supporting, and managing HR Information Systems, ERP Platforms, and the infrastructure associated with the platforms. The client is currently preparing to upgrade to Oracle Fusion. As such, the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of data conversion strategies from legacy ERP platforms which will help support our migration efforts. This well-qualified candidate will understand how to extract, transform, and move data from these environments to Oracle Fusion. The successful candidate will be able to proactively solve data conversion challenges before they impact internal and external customers. The successful candidate will also act as an Oracle Fusion subject matter expert who will champion support, training, and adoption of the new platform across the organization.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Work as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle Fusion ERP/SCM/HCM platforms
· Coordinate change and release activities for the county's enterprise application platforms
· Certification of code changes/updates in conjunction with release activities. This requires an understanding of Git for code management and DevOps tooling associated with Agile development practices
· Work with county divisions to understand their ERP Enterprise Technology needs and incorporate this into our operating requirements and roadmaps
· Collaborate with the team members and strong client focus
· Develop and/or improve IT and client processes utilizing industry-standard automation frameworks
· Create scripts and supporting work in scripting languages such as Powershell, bash, batch, Perl, and python
· Maintain internal architecture designs and keep up-to-date
· Maintain operational runbooks, knowledgebases, and incident playbooks
· Assist security and audit teams with compliance remediation and reporting
· Work closely with vendors on SaaS-based solutions to ensure operational excellence
· Manage day-to-day ticketing queue to ensure timely response and resolution to requests and Incidents
· Ensure project deliverables and act as an escalation point for resolution

· Strong communication skills and capabilities
· Relevant industry certifications
· Experience working in a similar role
· Familiarity with ITIL, or ITIL certified
· Oracle Fusion Cloud with HCM, SCM and ERP
· Experience with People Soft HCM Modules
· Database skills - DB2, Oracle Database, MSSQL Server
· Database Programming Skills - SQR reporting tool, SQL / PLSQL, PeopleCode, etc.
· Data conversions and data cleansing experience
· Can develop and support ETL and ETL strategies
· Data warehouse development and support
· Experience with Mainframe based Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain programs and
· modules, e.g. AS400/JDE
· Ability to participate in and coordinate activities in association with project management
practices and principles
· Ability to create integrations to Oracle Fusion from HR Information Systems and external
systems/environments
· Ability to write and create SQL reporting utilizing custom scripting, or SQL development
frameworks
· Ability to support software development lifecycle practices managed in a waterfall-based or
agile way
· Change management practices and principles aligned to ITIL
· Can provide some platform support on Linux, Windows, or Mainframe environments
