We are seeking a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) services for a high-visibility Wide-Area-Network (WAN) Implementation project. This initiative aims to modernize WAN transport services, improve network agility, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
The SME will provide specialized technical expertise and assist in project planning, reporting, and stakeholder communication. This role requires deep familiarity with large-scale WAN implementation projects and the ability to effectively communicate technical findings to leadership.
Key Responsibilities :
- Technical Expertise :
Provide subject matter expertise in WAN implementation methodologies, processes, and technologies.
Assist in developing comprehensive project plans for WAN implementation activities.
Create detailed technical reports summarizing project findings, risks, and performance metrics.
Work closely with the WAN Implementation vendor, project personnel, and IV&V team to ensure smooth execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
At least 8-10 years of experience in technical roles supporting large-scale infrastructure projects.
Deep understanding of WAN transport services and technologies, including their implementation and management.
Strong background in project planning and execution for complex IT projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
