Duties:
- Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
- Administer medications according to residents' medication schedules.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or emotional health.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as using the bathroom, getting dressed, and walking.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Support residents with memory care and long-term care needs.
- Assist with daily routines and activities, including morning and evening care.
- Engage in conversation and provide emotional support to residents.
- Document residents' daily activities and any changes in their condition.
- Collaborate with other caregivers and staff to ensure a smooth and efficient care experience.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in training sessions and continuing education to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Skills:
- Experience in medication administration and long-term care.
- Ability to lift and transfer residents safely.
- Knowledge of systems and procedures related to caregiving.
- Familiarity with memory care and nursing home settings.
- Ability to prepare meals and snacks for residents.
- CPR certification.
- Experience in clean environments and attention to detail.
