About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Substitute School Nurse. As a key member of our health services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our students and promoting a healthy learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement a comprehensive program of health services for our campus.
- Provide health counseling and instruction to individual students.
- Assess student problems and make appropriate referrals.
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and other staff regarding health services issues.
Qualifications:
- Two years of nursing experience, preferably in community health.
- Knowledge of health appraisal to identify student health defects.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to implement policies and procedures.
