Nurse Requirements
To be considered for the Nurse (RN/LPN) position, you will need:
- Active and valid LPN or RN
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
- Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
- Experience in substance abuse treatment preferred
Nurse Responsibilities
- Identify patients care requirements, focus on their needs and act on them
- Nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support
- Resolve or report on patients needs or problems
- Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine diagnostic checks (monitor pulse, blood pressure and temperature, provide drugs and injections etc)
- Monitor and record patients condition and document provided care services
- Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
- Communicate with patients family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions
- Follow care regulations and standards
- Work within and cooperate with a multidisciplinary team
Pay: $36.00- $48.00/ hr
Schedule: FT (12 hr shifts- 7p-7a)
