Job Description
A Pressure Washer, also known as a Pressure Washing Technician, is responsible for using high-pressure water spray equipment to clean surfaces and objects such as buildings, vehicles, concrete surfaces, and other outdoor structures. The job involves a combination of technical skill, physical labor, and attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities
- Adhering to all safety rules and procedures Replacing trash liners and wiping down trash receptacles Sanitizing Maintaining equipment in a neat, clean, safe, and good working condition
Operating Pressure Washing Equipment: - Skillfully handling and operating pressure washing machinery to remove dirt, grime, mold, algae, and other substances from various surfaces.
- Pressure Washing Stadium Seating areas, Walls and Columns, Walkways, loading docks, Stairs Towers, as assigned by account manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities Pressure washing stadium seating areas, walkways, etc.
- Account for and return all cleaning tools, hoses, chemicals, etc.
- Preparation of Area: Preparing the area for cleaning, which may include covering or protecting nearby plants or objects, and ensuring that water and cleaning solutions do not damage surrounding areas.
- Mixing and Applying Cleaning Solutions: If required, mixing cleaning agents or chemicals in the correct proportions and applying them to surfaces prior to pressure washing.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols to prevent accidents, including wearing protective gear such as gloves, goggles, and ear protection.
- Quality Control: Ensuring that the cleaning process effectively removes all dirt and stains without damaging the surface being cleaned.
- Efficient Work Practices: Completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining high standards of work.
- Customer Service: Interacting with clients or supervisors to discuss the scope of work, any specific requirements, and addressing any concerns they might have.
- Environmental Awareness: Using environmentally friendly cleaning agents where possible and managing wastewater and runoff in compliance with local regulations.
