What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Foreman position at Staffworks Group?
Staffworks Group is now hiring for a structural and miscellaneous steel Working Foreman to oversee a team of steel erectors in Putnam, CT. This is not a supervisor only role.

This is full time direct placement position that pays $28-$35/hr.
Minimum five years of steel erection, welding, and supervisory experience.
Responsibilities:
- Managing on-site personnel and technical aspects of projects.
- Positioning steel members by fastening to hoist cable and guiding members.
- Preparing work by studying architectural prints and gathering materials.
- Layout structural and miscellaneous steel, including stairs, railings, and platforms.
- Attaching steel members by bolting, welding, or riveting.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Able to pass background checks and drug screening
- Blueprint reading.
