What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift Receiving position at Staffworks?
Receiving Material Handlers are primarily responsible for scanning, receiving, and staging inbound merchandise. Will also sort merchandise by department, restacks, and wraps pallets to prepare for transport to staging areas.
Specific requirements:
Forklift experience required
Must be able unload merchandise by operate forklift, pallet hack or by hand
Must be able to operate a handheld scanner
Must be able to identify and sort merchandise by department
Must be able to restack and wrap product to prepare for transport
Must work well as a team Must have good attendance record
Minimum qualifications:
High school diploma
Good math, organizational and comprehension skills
Must be willing and able to work overtime
Must have the ability to maintain accurate records
Power equipment certification a plus
Must be able to read, write and understand English
Schedule: 1st shift
4am – 12:30pm Monday-Friday with mandatory overtime
$19.50/hr
Salary : $20
