Shipping Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the process of shipping goods to and from customers, suppliers, and intercompany. Will work closely with third-party, and direct freight providers and in a cross-functional setting with internal team members.
Required skill set:
High School Diploma (or equivalent) in related field.
Prior experience in shipping and logistics
Working experience with Microsoft Word & Excel, ERP and Shipping Software
Problem solving skills

Strong communicator; both written and verbal skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic cross functional team setting.
Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
Job responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies.
Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Inventory, and Warehouse) to ensure products are ready for shipping.
Schedule and track the movement of goods and deliveries with carriers or third-party logistics providers.
Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs documentation.
Maintain accurate records of all shipments, including tracking numbers and delivery confirmations
Communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers regarding shipping status, delays, or changes; and provide updates to customers and internal teams regarding delivery timelines
Evaluate, negotiate, secure best shipping rates and methods to minimize costs while ensuring timely delivery and good service.
Check that shipments and related documents are complete and accurate before they are sent out
Address any shipping issues or discrepancies, such as damaged goods, delayed shipments, or incorrect deliveries; and work to resolve issues in a timely manner.

Schedule: 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday
Pay rate: $19.00- $ 22.00/hr depending on experience
