What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Staffworks?
Jet Operator- Operates & tend machine to wash, dye & finish textiles
Hours: 1st & 2nd shifts available Monday-Friday
1st shift-5am.-1pm. $15.50
2nd shift - 3-11pm. $16.50
Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate up to seven jet machines alongside another operator
- Load, run procedures, unload jet according to procedures
- Accurately weigh chemicals for machines
- Observe and report defects in production
- Maintains safe work environment and practices
- Comply with all safety regulations
- Be available to assist with other tasks
- Keep work areas clean and clear
Machine Operator Requirements:
- Ability to work alone & within a team
- Ability to sit, stand, walk for lengths of time, ability to climb stairs
- Ability to lift, push, pull, move product sporadically throughout the shift
Machine Operator Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Good reading, attention to detail, organizational skills & communication skills
