What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at StaffWorks?
Perform electrical and mechanical work necessary to maintain, Repair, troubleshoot, install and move machinery and equipment including large manufacturing units. Optimize the production process by enduring that all machinery continues to function seamlessly, perform basic maintenance of buildings and facilities as needed. Build/ Repair heat deal dies
Must have mechanical and electrical aptitude - knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
able to read and understand mechanical parts, Machinery and building prints, drawings, charts and technical repair manuals
able to diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues
able to provide maintenance and repaid on various types of building systems such as plumbing, electric and air conditioning
must be organized and able to prioritize multiple projects
must be able to work and communicate well with other team members and production staff.
need high school diploma or equivalent
2 plus years experience in machine maintenance, experience with heat seal an silk screen equipment is an advantage
must be able to read, write, speak and receive verbal instruction in english. spanish is a plus
