About the job SR. PRINCIPAL MECHANICAL SYSTEMS DESIGN ENGINEER
Minimum Qualifications :
A BS degree in Engineering or related degree
10 years of mechanical systems design experience including experience with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), process flow calculations, etc.
Preferred Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will have experience with hydro-mechanical systems applications, design, and operations, as well as the following skills :
- Expertise in theory and design of turbomachinery subsystems (lube oil system, fuel system, start system, and / or seal systems)
- Master's degree in engineering or related degree
- A good understanding of manufacturing and testing processes
- Experience with P&ID Creation tools similar to Promis-E (V8i) software platform
- Experience with Creo and Matlab or other Simulation / Modeling tools
- A sense of urgency and organizational skills are required to work with multiple projects and competing priorities.
