Our client, Bane-Nelson, Inc., is looking for a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support industrial and commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop their skills in project management while gaining hands-on experience in estimating, scheduling, and coordinating construction activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing multiple industrial and commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Support the preparation of project estimates and assist in tracking financial aspects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with in-house teams, trade professionals, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and project execution.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and reports to support smooth operations.
- Act as a liaison between the project manager, clients, and vendors to facilitate efficient communication and issue resolution.
- Utilize MS Office Suite, MS Project, and basic AutoCAD skills to assist with project planning and tracking.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications
- 1 years of experience in construction estimating or project coordination.
- 2 years of experience in construction project management support, preferably within industrial or commercial sectors.
- Exposure to Industrial & Commercial General Contracting or Industrial Facility Maintenance is a plus.
- Experience supporting projects valued at $1M is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow into a leadership role.
