Patient Access Services - ED Registrar needed for local hospital. $24/hr. M-F with rotating weekends and holidays. Two shifts available: 7a-3:30p OR 3p-11:30p
Duties:
- greet walk-in patients, lookup patients in system and identify the correct patient (walk-in and/or EMS arrival)
- collect demographics and insurance information
- collect inpatient signatures for admission
- collect co-pays
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in related field; OR high school degree/GED with one year of clerical and/or clinical work experience in a healthcare setting
Background and drug screening is required
