Film Editor
Seeking a Film Editor for an independent feature film project located in Burbank, California. This is a unpaid position that requires a commitment to the belief that there is still hope in times of despair and offers valuable experience as an Editor on the ground floor of this startup project.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the director and producers to understand the vision of the film
- Cut, splice, and rearrange raw footage to create scenes and sequences
- Make choices that affect the film’s pace, atmosphere, and narrative
- Collaborate with sound designers, colorists, and VFX supervisors in post-production
- Coordinate online or print publishing cycle and manage content area
- Set publication standards and establish goals and expectations
- Suggest stories and generate headline ideas in alignment with the targeted audience’s preferences

The successful candidate will dedicate 3 to 4 hours per week supporting pre and post-production responsibilities related to this project.
