Wire Harness Technician (Owego, NY)

We are seeking a Wire Harness Technician for our client, a leading global security and aerospace company. In this role, you will perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.

This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week role (4 days 10-hour shifts weekly). This role is onsite supporting our client's Owego, NY facility.

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities:

• Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
• Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
• Exclude technicians working in production or quality assurance.

Requirements:

• 4 years of experience in experience building Cable harnesses from the ground up.
• IPC 620 certification is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree.
