We are looking for a Lean Manufacturing Engineer for a global aerospace company. In this role, you will design manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.
This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week role (Mon-Thu 9 hours and 4 hours Friday), and this is an Onsite role in Syracuse, NY.
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities
- Design a sequence of operations and specify procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
- Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
- Incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
- Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action for problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
- Must work well with cross-functional teams.
- 1 years of Industrial experience.
- Green Belt and/or Lean Manufacturing understanding.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
