Quality Engineer – Investigate Product Discrepancies (Troy, AL)
We are looking for a Quality Engineer for a global aerospace company. In this role, you will investigate product discrepancies and drive root cause and corrective action, and achieve reduction of Scrap, Rework and Repair (SRR) and customer quality escapes and assure quality standards are implemented and adhered to throughout the product lifecycle.
This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week role; this is an Onsite role at Troy, AL.
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities
- Perform in a customer-focused work environment, maintaining effective communication with internal/external customers including DCMA (US Department of Defense).
- Coordination with Engineering, Operations, and Procurement on product quality issues and effective issue resolution.
- 9 years of experience in performing root cause investigations and implementing effective corrective action.
- 3 years of experience in the manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Must be a born US Citizen.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
